Parking light bulb socket replacement part

When I was working on my headlights the whole headlight fell out and my parking light socket that holds the bulb fell out and detached from the wire. Since the wires are too short to reconnect is there anyone who knows where I can find another socket for it? I’ve been to all my local junk yards and no luck, I think I need a socket specifically for a 2010 because the one I got from a junk yard was a 2009 I believe and it didn’t work. Thanks

Can you get a couple pictures of the socket that feel out? I am sure that we can find a replacement but you may be able to take it apart and replace the wires because I suspect the wires that broke too short for you to splice a new wire to it?

We have sources that will work if we can find the right socket. Here is a link that will give an example:

Okay so I did a little more searching and it’s actually called the side marker. Can you get a picture of your connector in its current state? There may be a way to save it. Most of these are able to be taken apart and you can just replace the wire terminal with a new one. They sell wire terminals at all parts stores.

Okay, so this piece is one I found at a scrap yard. I hooked it up and it didn’t work but it’s exactly the same as the one I had. The only difference is where it says “t 32” on the grayish part it says “m 14” on the one that fell out.

More than likely that is just a different run of connectors if this one came off a different model year. If it connects then it is correct but just defective.

If you have a spare now that is not working, I would use it to practice taking them apart so that you can replace the actual wires.

We don't have any videos on this but it is not overly complicated. The gray part in the center will come out and then there is a lock that holds the terminal in that you can release and then pull the wire out the back of the connector.

Just do a Google search on depinning a connector and you will see all sorts of videos out there showing how to do this.

Once you get the connector apart you can just put new wires in and then splice it back onto the harness.
