my car shuts off.

1988, honda accord,154500,i dn't know engine size. but my question is:

it take a while. but after a few minutes every time i'm going to make a complete stop or stop at a red light. my car shuts off. the only lights that come on are the oil and battery light. and it does it constantly. do you know why?

I was wanting to know if you ever got this problem fixed and if so what was the problem and how was it fixed. I have a 1997 accord doing the same thing. and i am at a loss. If you could please email me at jcdinaz@netscape.net Thank you

Check the EGR system and then comeback for more headaches on Ignition and Fuel system
