Hello,

I have a 1995 Honda Accord 4 Dr LX V6 Sedan 115,000 plus miles, with which I have had several problems since I bought it 6 months ago from a private party. This is the first car I bought.

The radiator had to be replaced just after I bought it. There was a sqeaking sound since the beginning and I was told by one of the service stations its due to the shock absorber.
Later the right axle, battery and steering also had to be replaced. Recently the exhaust came off and when I took it to Pepboys they said that it could be replaced but the squeaking sound in the car cannot be traced. It was not due to the shock absorber.

They also told me that car's body had a problem and was leaning to the left.
I am not sure what to do.

I know I should have thought of disposing the car long back. I want to dispose this car now but I spent quite a lot on it in the last 6 months so I don't think I would get enough back.

I have new set of tyres, good brakes, the engine is running good, radiator is also new.

Can somebody suggest what would be the right thing to do to dispose the car and also a get a good return on it.

Thanks

Get it clean. I mean SUPER CLEAN! You would be suprised what people would over look about mechanical problems as long as it looks great. Spend a few serious days cleaning everything, under the hood, the trunk, wheel wells, etc. Scrub every bit of dirt off it and watch that piece of fruit sell.

Chuck_t is a jerk if he's telling you to rip someone off. Be honest, what goes around comes around.

AND, I meant to add that you should also include every known fault and defect. What goes around does come around, so it's best to spread goodness.
