My son has a 1993 Honda Accord EX 2.2ltr engine
with 148,000 miles on it. Car started acting strangley, while driving, speedometer would jump around, lights would go dim, radio would quit working, finally would quit running, wouldn't turn over battery would be dead. We replaced the battery that worked for a day till it ran down, replaced the alternator ran good for a month or better, started doing it again, can't keep it running now. When you start it the D4 light flashes, the service engine light comes on. Have had several people tell us it is a ground problem, possibly transmission ground, is it possible, and where is it located. He removed his stereo because several people told him it was the ground on his sound system. Please help if you can. thanks

Where did you get the alternator. I would have the alternator checked again. I would bet the alternator youi replaced it with is a rebuilt. Good chance it is not functioning properly.
