1998 Honda Accord LX 89K miles. While driving down the road, when i am coasting, there is a popping sound coming from the front end. It doesn't make the sound when i am speeding up or maintaining speed or when the brakes are applied, only when coasting. I checked the tires to see if I had a broken belt in the tire but they look fine, also, it doesn't liike like anything is hitting the tire. I few months ago, i had both fron axles replaced as well. What do you guys think.

Your description may make sense to you but it is confusing to me. Popping? The could even be an exhaust problem. The letting off of the accelerator causes more pressure and you could have a small leak that when it hits the cooler air causes the popping sound. Is it rocks off the tires? Sorry the description is not too clear.
