Ok I have a 98 Honda Accord LX. My car for some reason has started to over heat. We have changed the thermastat, flushed and changed the fluid the radiator, change the oil, and change the transmission fluid. When you first start the car its fine and no problems once it starts to gets hot it starts to jerk and then feels like its stuck in one gear it even got so stuck that it wouldn't go into reverse, but once it cools back off its fine goes into reverse and everything. Do you have any clue what could be the porblem. Some one told me to change out the water pump does that sound right? And how hard is that to change?

What is the engine that you have? Did you state that you had replaced the radiator? Looking at the radiator is there lines that run into the radiator from the transmission? I am wondering if the transmission AND the engine both are getting overly hot. Please clarify and provide the engine data.
