93 Accord Back-up lights inop

I have a 93 Accord EX 2.2L, 4dr, 5spd 155K. I love the car, runs great. Recently noticed that the reverse lights don't work when shifted into R. Checked the bulbs, good, 10A fuse under dash, good. No fuses concerning this under hood. Looked in car manual for other electrical options related to them to no avail. Fearing something major and inspection is due (VA) end of July. Really not looking forward to taking it to a dealer. Any advice? Thank you. :mrgreen:

I can't get in to the maintenance manual at this time, but there is a backup switch. That switch is located on the transmission. The wire could be off or the switch could be bad.
