89 Accord lxi cooling

89 accord lxi, auto, 140kmi. I am losing antifreez but no signs of leaking. After I filled it up, the top rad hose is hot, the bottom hose is luke warm, temp gage is normal, lots of heat inside but there is no preasure when I take the rad cap off.
Any suggestions?

Hi jim, you may want to have a cooling system pressure test done, if this does not reveal anything have someone do a block test, this is very simple and easy, what it does is check for exhaust gasses in the coolant meaning a failed head gasket, but try the pressure test first

Its a closed system, so if there is a leak it will lose pressure from that point and just get worse with time
