I recently took my honda to get an oil change and they checked my brakes. they told me I needed new rotors and that they could not be turned. However, they said that instead they could replace the brake pads and that would be just as safe, but my brakes would squeak a lot. They told me that new rotors would run about $400 and new pads would be $120. Should I have my rotors changed or just stick with getting new pads? I've also heard about a recall of 2008 brakes, does this apply in my situation?
