2008 Honda Accord Rear Brakes

The 2008, 2009, and earlier 2010 Accord rear brakes have a major design defect which is more than fast wearing brake pads. My question is: what is the change done to later 2010 & 2011 Accords that seem to have corrected the problem?

Different caliper slider pin design, and I believe they either put more lube from the factory or a different lube all together.
