Hello can someone advice me please. I have notice that my tachometer reading is reaching 1 when there is not even accelerated and when the cluth is press to accelerate it takes a good while to do so and the tachometer reaches above 2 when it's only been accelerated up to 40 mph and the car feels foce should I worry? It's an on and off situation. Is this normal due to weather conditions Help Please.

Hi Bombonzito06,

When the engine is not fully warmed up, the cold start system is working so the idling speed would be higher.

If the idling speed is high even after driving more than 20 minutes, there could be something that is causing it to act weird. Since vehicle is under warranty, it would be best checked by the dealer if you are worried.
