I took this to a local Honda dealer for servicing the brakes. I had the back brake pads replaced at 30,000 miles and they were making the same noise so I took it back in. This time I had all four brake pads replaced. However, they said that my radiator is cracked, is leaking and I need to replace the radiator soon. I held off on that as I had not noticed the car overheating at all, and I hadn't noticed any leaks.

The car has not been in any accidents and is only 2 1/2 years old. Why would my radiator be cracked?? Since I took it from the dealer it has continuously made a sound like the power stearing fluid is low or empty and the stearing has been a bit stiff and jerky at times. I checked the powering stearing fluid and it appears to be fine. I made sure I added a little extra fluid just in case, but it still makes the sound and is still a bit stiff at times.

What is the problem???
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,

Check the power steering belt tension, it could be loose. If not, then the pump is weak.

The radiator is not cracked if there is no coolant loss. Did you check the coolant level? There could be stress lines on the top tank prompting the Honda mechanics to advise you to replace it.
