What happan if the battary is not functioning, how does the car react?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation.

The battery will be a volt wet cell lead acid type, (there are some variant but in essence all will be12 volts)

It is located under the bonnet.

The battery stores power to operate all electrical systems, it its charged by the alternator.

With a failed or flat battery, you will not be able to start the car, no electrical components will work,

The cost off a battery can vary depending on the duty cycle and cold crank amps, normally around $130. but this is just a guide better batteries will cost more.

You can not repair a faulty battery, if it will not hold charge it must be replaced.
