Under light to moderate braking, I can hear a creaking noise coming from the right, rear brake. The creaking seams slows down as the car slows down. Could this be the backing plate rubbing against the rotor, or else a warped rotor, or both? I don't really hear it much when I'm traveling above 70 km/h, though maybe there is too much tire and wind noise to properly hear the noise. The general braking performance does not seem to be affected by this problem.

Hi there,

This may just be dry slide pins. ask your service center to check & lube of dry , also just get a general brake inspection to be on the safe side.
