Electrical problem
2005 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 40122 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
In May of this year, my shift lever suddenly got stuck and I was not able to move it out of "park". After taking it to a mechanic, they stated that the vehicle would need a ECM (Electric Control Module) flush. Well, about 2 weeks later, it started working again. I was able to move the shift lever without any problems. So far I have not had any problems since. My question is, do I still need to have the vehicle (2005 Honda Accord) taken in to the mechanic for an ECM flush?

I would check the brake light switch and level actuator

most of the times a misadjusted brake switch is to blame

flushing computer is done at the dealer
