My car was not starting, I jump start it and it ran for just 1/4 mile and then died, I changed the battery and same thing is happening. The old battery was bad when I checked them. With new battery it starts and run with some vibration and stops runing when I put any gear.

Hi goy.ash,

Get the charging rate tested. Insufficient electrical power can cause erratic running.

Engine seems to be misfiring, check the spark plugs and related parts.

If the Check Engine Light is indicating, get a free scan done at Autozone and let me know the exact trouble codes.
