Just had new struts put all around . Car bobs 3 to 4 times after hitting bump or depression, also potholes have just become harder and loud . I am starting to think the mechanic put in used parts. Do I have reason to be concerned?

It is questionable for all 4 new struts to rebonce 3 or 4 time when hitting a bump.
Confirm the rebounce test:
Stand in front of your car.
put your both hands on the hood.
push down.
remove your hands from the hood as you observe the rebounce test
it should only be a bounce(travel up and stay there)
if there is rebounce, there is problem with the job done.
This test can be done in the front and back ( from the truck)
