My car shakes at most any speed. I just had the tires replaced and it is still doing it. Maybe worse than before. What could be causing this?

I assume that the tires were balanced and that the vehicle was aligned. Right? Did the mechanic look at the front suspension for wear and loose parts? Was the person a tire changer or a mechanic that knew what to look for?

It was not a mechanic but a tire place that replaced the tires. I know that they balanced them because I saw them put the tires on a machine. I didn't ask for an allignment and I don't think they checked the other stuff though.
