2004 Honda Accord electrical problem

when the key is turn to "on" everything lights up and works fine...when I go to start the engine nothing happens at all...engine does not even attempt to turn over...happens 3 or 4 times and then it works fine...I am baffled...any suggestions?

Check and test the starter, starter relay, transmission range switch and ignition switch-Double check battery condition and connections.
