2003 Honda Accord smoking

2003 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

occasionally my engine will smoke but i dont see anything dripping. someone told me it may be my valve cover gasket. how can i tell??

Whenever your engine starts to smoke, pop the hood and take a look.

It's usually oil dripping onto the exhaust manifold. It could be coming from a valve cover or intake manifold.

Look for an oily build up against the mating surfaces at the top of your motor.

If it's a valve cover gasket, write back and I'll walk you through the fix. If it's an intake manifold, I can walk you through that also, but I don't recommend you tackle that yourself if you aren't already familiar with that procedure.
