I had to have the transmission rebuilt at 48,000 miles, When it came back the cruse control was not working. I discovered that the volume control and horn are also out. The air bag light is lit. When the car went everything was working properly except the transmission.

Hi slambob,

The cable reel under the steering wheel has been damaged causing the problems indicated.

During removal of the transmission the steering was disconnected and due to improper installation, the reel has been damaged.
