Engine Mechanical problem
2003 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

After the timing belt tensioner bolts broke off the block I took a compression check and found between wet and dry readings the valves are good. The #4 I suspected from the begining from hearing it start in the driveway, dry test almost 20#, wet test 150+.
Upon teardown I can't find a noticable cause for my problem. No head cracks, rings have very little end gap wear, cylinder walls have cross hatch pattern, what the heck!

Hi a36ford4us,

Did you test the valves for leakages?
