Have a manual shift. Lately when my car is cool (i.e. just started), sometimes it idles high (as high as 2,000 rpm). It settles down after a while.

What are the possible causes? My guesses could be need a computer update. Or something is gunked up. Is there anything I can do?

Hi MNHondaFan,

When cold starting, the rpm should idle high, that is what it has been designed to do.
