i was driving my car yesterday and something popped on the clutch pedal now i cant get it into any gears i bled the system and still nothing

updated 2/26/09
i had someone look at it they said it was the pump on the pedal because they said its not opening the clutch enough if this sound right please let me know

Ask a helper to step on the clutch for you as you watch the slave cylinder
for movement
and let me know
