Hi,

I am running into a delima, when I back out of my driveway, then put my car in drive, when I start to accelerate I hear a pop noise. It also occurs when I have a hard stop, then accelerate forward. I feel and hear it coming from the driver's side front. The transmission feels like it is shifting fine, so I am hoping it is not a tranny problem (big $$$). So far I have had the ball joints, cv shaft, and wheel bearings replaced. I am at a lost.

Hi jharris85,

Thank you for the donation.

If the nosie is from the suspension, something is not correctly torqued, has excessive clearance or some bushings are worn.

I would suspect a bolt holding the control arms or bushes is the most likely source.

If the noise was there before the the replacement of the parts concerned, check those that have not been touched. Check the engine mounts brackets, lower frame and torque rods bolts.
