Dash light bulbs

The odometer light in my Accord went out. A Honda mechanic told me that the most probably a bulb needs to be replaced. However, even though the job is fairly simple, he quoted me a very high price for the job due to the Honda pricing guidelines. Can I do it myself ? And how ?
