my car is having problems switching gears. it switches from gear to gear but when accelerating, it switches gears like a standard does (jolts and whatnot). what could be causing this? is this worth worrying about? is it wasting gas when this happens? what will it take to fix it?

Hi OliviaKate20, It can be anything from a bad Throttle Position Sensor to a failing transmission and it is best to get it checked out. One of the likeliest cause is the Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid A and B. For some models, there is an extended warranty, call your local Honda dealer to enquire.
