When shifting into drive or reverse I hear this clunk kind of sound. Just a little jerking of the car, not serious at all. My first thought is the CV assembly unit, what are your thoughts? If it is the CV assembly unit can you tell approximatley what it shoud cost to repair if I have an auto repair shop do it?

Thanks

HI there,

A CV wont usually clunk in a straight line, they click or knock when turning, it may be the drive shaft nut needs re tensioning, or there is a worn suspension component, i would start looking there first.
