The brake light came on on my wifes Accord. Honda City in Liverpool, NY says that brake lines under car are leaking at attachment points under middle of car and must be replaced for $2262.86. They claim that car is OK to drive but in panic stop brake lines could rupture at the attachment points.
How do I know they're not blowing smoke? Car stops
fine but brake light comes on when brakes are not being used.
