2002 Honda Accord Automatic 75,000 miles

My 2002 Honda Accord takes a lot longer than it should to shift from first to second gear. What could the problem be?

Hi Korpin,

Gear shifting depends on throttle pressure and vehicle speed so it could be normal depending on condition of driving.

If the engine performance has deteriorated, then shifting would be delayed.
