Hello I have a 2002 Honda Accord LX. I bought the vehicle 2 years ago used at 57000 and now have 90K miles on the vehicle. I was thinking about doing a package that they have running right now that will replace the timing belt, replace the water pump, replace the crankshaft seals, replace the camshaft seals, replace the accessory belts and replace coolant. They quoted me $552.46 plus about $20 in shop fees and Arizona sales tax.

My questions are do I need this preventative service and is this a decent price?

Thank you,
Alison

Hi Alison,

Yes, such preventive repairs are required sooner or later and from the age and mileage of the vehicle, it is due or almost due.

The price quoted is reasonable.
