2001 Honda Accord windshield

2001 Honda Accord

Hi,
My Honda accord windshield has single horizontal crack from left side to right side (3/4 crack). The crack is at the top of the windshield, so it’s not a problem for visibility. I got the feeling that windshield may broke and fall on me when I am driving on highways. I don’t want to replace it unless it will give me trouble or any safety issue. Can you please suggest me if I have to replace or repair the windshield.

Hi goutham,

The windshield is not going to fall off even if the cracks goes across the whole of it.

You can try to get it repaired to prevent it from spreading. However repairs wuld depend on how bad the crack is and hopefully it is patchable.
