2001 Honda Accord Testing a Transmission

I need to swap out transmissions. I need to know if there is anyway I can have the used trans that I will buy tested before I put it in my car and realize that it is bad also? I can test a used engine out at the junk yard by bringing some fuel, battery, etc. just to make sure it turns, but what about a trans?

Hi cbassoc,

There is no way of testing a transmission if it is not on the vehicle. It is not possible to simulate driving conditions.
