My car tail light and back light are off. The display panel shows a red rectangular shape (symbol) and a dim "break light". All the break light are OK ( I replaced them and they work ok now). However the Tail l;ight and back light ( next to the break light areas) are still bad ( no lit up) even I replace them all.
How can I diagnose this off light problems .. What probably cause them.

Thanks.

Hi vanken2004,

Are the front marker lights on? If yes, you need to check the wiring from the fusebox underdash to the rear.

If no, check under hood fuse box for blown fuse.

Is your vehicle equipped with Auto lights off feature?
