Have a 2001 Accord LX w/138,000 miles and over the last year and a half I have gone through five headlight bulbs, three in the left side and two in the right... what is going on?

We don't have any other electrical problems that we aware of and all service is done at our Honda dealer.

Thought I'd try here before paying relatively high diagnostic charges.

Please help!

Hi BillW2,

I don't think there is any fault with the wiring system as it is fused and if there were any problems, the fuse would be giving way instead of the bulbs, unless the fuse is rated much higher than the builbs.

I would suspect the quality of the bulbs rather than anything else.
