I don't have any brake lights when the headlights are on but when I hit the brakes all of the lights on the right side come on. I know one of the bulbs is burnt out b/c of a light that came on on my dashboard but I would think if they are all burnt out then why would some of them work when I hit the brakes? Please help!

Hi jenandjared06,

When the head lights are turned on, the brake lights don't work, only the taillights would work.

The brake and taillights work on separate circuits and in your case, the taillights could have fused long ago without your knowing until the brake lights failed indicator reminded you.

Replace all the brake bulbs to solve the problem.
