WHEN I BRAKE OR MAKE A TURN I HEAR LIKE A CRACKING, SQUEAKING, SOUND COMING FROM THE REAR. I SUSPECT IT MIGHT BE THE BUSHINGS OR SHOCKS. WELL BEFORE I TAKE ANY STEPS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE THE PROBLEM.

Hi there,

noises from these light weight cars is a common problem. Often it is just a matter of re tightening all the suspension points, the bush's tend to shrink a little with age and they start to talk. At worst there may be a few bushes that may need replacing. A visual and physical inspection by a qualified mechanic should pick up the problem quickly.
