2001 Honda Accord Problem with my Honda!

Every morning, after a 5min warm up of the car, i would usually reverse out of my porch and then later put the car into D, and the gear doesnt seem be going in, the car revs as i accelerate and then only it kicks into gear. Its like the gears kicking.

The first thing you should do is check the oil level in the transmission, if low top up with Honda approved trans fluid, (you get this from the dealer) if oil is dark and smelly (burnt smell) this will have to be investigated by a trans specialist, you may also get a diagnosis test done for any unresolved transmission electrical fault codes, start here.
