I JUST BOUGHT THIS 2001 HONDA ACCORD I LENT THE CAR TO A FRIEND HE WOULD DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG WIRE FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP THINKING IF SOMEONE TRIES TO STEAL IT THEY COULD NOT HE RAN THE ENGINE FOR ABOUT 2 MIN. HE SAYS. AFTER THAT HE REALIZED THE SPARK PLUG WIRE WAS DISCONNECTED. ENGINE SHUT OFF. HE RECONNECTED THE SPARK PLUG WIRE BACK TO THE CAP. HE TRIED TO START THE ENGINE AND THE ENGINE WOULD CRANK OVER BUT NO START. I CHECKED FOR SPARK AND HAD NONE. HAVE 12V. TO COIL WITH KEY ON POS.
