2001 Honda Accord gear shifter

I have an automatic 2001 honda acoord the other day i went to the store and parked the car when i returned and tried to move the car out of park and the gear would not move. i pressed the reset button(after calling a mechanic) but now everytime i want to move the car out of park into drive or reverse i have to press the reset buttom. What could be the problem.

Sounds to me you have a problem with the transmission,possible it has gone bad and needs to be repaired, Honda was aware of this issue for teh 2001 models having a transmission problem with the car, Take it to a honda dealership to check, and if the warranty will not cover it, you are looking around 3,000.00 for a new tranny
