2001 Honda Accord ac compressor

I have an 01 Accord EX. I need to replace the drive belt that broke as a result of the ac compressor pulley being damaged. I am told that it is labor intense to replace the ac compressor pulley. Is it possible to install a belt that would bypass the ac until I have it fixed?

You might want to get a belt w/o an AC unit for your yr/model won't hurt to try.
