smelling gas inside car, took car to 2 different mechanics he found no leaks, and could not find problem. Could that be a bad h2 sensor?

No it's not a bad o2 sensor.

Sometimes oil leaks can cause a fuel like smell in the cabin. Also, I'd check the charcoal canister to ensure you have not over-fueled and got fuel into the canister.
