I had a hit around the transmission part on a hard concrete and the transmission became eratic and wont response to throttle request at times.
I scanned the car's computer and P1750 and P0730 dtc codes were pulled and reset the codes and replaced transmission fluid but the problem still persisted. What is the next thing to check.

Hi there,

Check the data reading for the linear shift solenoid, TPS and O2 sensor to see if they are within specs.

How do I check and know the normal reading for linear shift solenoid. Let me also ask if the 2000 honda accord has a seperate TCM(trans control module) and where its located. Am thinking of changing the TCM but it pulled only P1753, P1758 and P0730 this time. Regards

Hi bodejegede,

The TCM is inside the ECM.

The testing of the solenoid requires hooking up of diagnostic equipments and doing road test and pressure test.

Quite a complicated process to be described.
