Electrical problem
2000 Honda Accord 6 cyl Automatic

the instrument panel doesn't light up, that first I could "hit" the dashboard and the light will go back on, but now no more.
Any help on how to repair this problem?

In this case you would need to remove the meter assy to check if it is caused by a bad connection, printed sircuit board fault or might even be blown bulbs. If you wish to do the job, I should be able to provide some diagrams and removal procedures. Here is a diagram of the bulb locations.
