2000 Honda Accord Ignition not catching at all times

About once a week my car will not want to start and stay started. It doesn't always catch when cranking. I took it in to dealer and they said it revealed no codes when put on computer, however, they were 99.9% Sure that it was the ignition switch. That set me back $175.00. That can't be true since I'm still having the same problem. What should I do? I hate to continue to spend money with trial & error. Please help!!

If the problem is with the ignition switch, you should get the dealer to give you a refund on the ignition switch. There was a safety recall on the item and they should have replaced it free for you.

When problem occurs, does the dash indicator lights show when ignition switch is turned to ON?
Is the starter able to be cranked?
Does engine start then stalled?
During this time, does the dash indicator lights stays on?
How do you get it to start and run when this occurs?
