I'm replacing my front and rear brake rotors and am having trouble removing the rotors. What is the proper procedure to remove them?

There should one (sometimes two) screw(s) that is/are holding the rotor onto the hub assembly. Remove it/them. You now should be able to remove the rotors. If you can't, then it is rusted and stuck. Get a catalyst agent such as PB Blaster (WD40 won't work) and spray liberally onto the wheel studs, the screw holes, and any other places that you can to get the rotor off the hub. Wait about 10 minutes, and hit the rotor with a rubber mallet.

Zackman goes you covered, definatley let the WD-40 soak in for a few minutes, before giving it a good whack or 2 with the rubber mallet will release the rotor.
