I had the rack and pinion fixed, now he says maybe I put brake fluid in my power steering fluid and this is not true. Now he says he thinks it is the pump. What it is doing is that I put the car on and I can hear the power steering fluid sizzling like and when I opened the hood it was actually low the power steering fluid and jumping like out of control.

Hi Hondi1,

When power steering fluid is low, it would cause abnormal noises.

Top up the fluid, start engine and turn from lock to lock to bleed the system. Check for leakages at rack, hoses and pump.
