I have a 2000 Honda Accord and I have recently been having electrical problems , for starters my brake lights stay lit even when the car is turned off, i'm assuming that this the reason my battery had died and if i left it on it would drain it. My dash gauge doesn't light and sometimes lights up after ive been driving for a little while. My mileage meter will light when the switch is off but when its time to turn the headlights on at night then it goes blacks

Hi there,

I would say that the brake light switch is faulty, this is mounted at the top of the brake pedal under the dash, check this first, this should rectify the brake light problem, then see what the rest of the lights are doing, start here.
