The dial (knob) in question has 5 positions Off,1,2,3,4
It doesn,t work in the 1 or 2 position. Position 3 & 4 work fine. Turns off fine. I checked the 7.5 amp fuse and its okay. Any solution?

Hi lumpy9, The power resistor is bad and has to be replaced. It can be replaced without removal of the blower unit, just 2 screws that can be remove from under the housing. Item B is the power resistor.
