I got in my car yesterday, accidentally hit my remote car lock. I did not unlock the car before attempting to start it. The engine did not turn over. Could this have immobilized the fuel? I have disconnected the battery and tried to restart.
The battery is relatively new.
Car is well over due for a tune up.
Could it be as simple as replacing spark plugs and fuel filter?

Hi jollyhombre,
When the alarm is activated, it would prevent the vehicle from being started.
Use the remote to arm and disarm and test if you could start.
Are you able to crank the engine?

I have armed and disarmed the alarm.
The engine tries to start (cranks?) But does not quite make it.
I contacted honda, and they said it should have nothing to do with the alarm. I thought it might have been, since I have not had issues with it starting.
It sounds like I will need to have a mechanic look at it.

If you are able to crank without it starting, it could be fuel or ignition that is malfunctioning.
If the cranking speed is slow, you might have a weak battery, a jump start would solve the problem.
If you are into DIY, try this link to see if you can get any idea what could be missing. Otherwise you would have to get someone to look at it.
